Shana Dwyer - Principal/Co-owner
With 20 years teaching experience, Shana has taught children from the tender age of 2 through to the golden age of 67 to dance. Running a studio independently for 14 years, and preparing students for Examinations has rewarded her credibility as a teacher with a 100% pass rate from all participating students. Students have won and or placed in various Dance Scholarships, Competitions, and have been accepted in auditions for dance tours to Hong Kong for the annual Dancexpo, representing ATOD.

With the help of ATOD, Shana has travelled widely over Australia as a Demonstrator of Syllabus work. Shana has been sent as an ATOD Syllabus Demonstrator to Indonesia (2005), Singapore (2006) and Thailand (2010), where the syllabus is also studied. which is also an ATOD teaching tool nationally and internationally.

Shana has worked with Etienne Khoo and Shane Clarke from DVP in Melbourne on Australia's 1st Hip Hop Syllabus. She has also filmed with Shane Preston and Paul Davis from "Tap Dogs" on the new Street Tap Syllabus devised for ATOD.Shana will continue to deliver her passion to all students who are willing to learn well into the future.

 

Travis Roberts - Hip Hop Teacher/Co-owner
Travis started teaching in 2002, specialising in street and hip-hop and trained with the best in Australia the Trick Nasty Crew. In 2000 he completed the C.A.D. (Centre of Artistic Development) program at Macgregor State High, a 2-year program majoring in drama as well as travelling to Hong Kong to dance at the world dance expo. Competing in competitions in night clubs around Brisbane he met up with TNC in 2002. He trained intensively throughout 2003 for Australian Hip-Hop Championships in Adelaide placing 2nd only to be beaten by his trainers. Then selected to compete in the World Championships to represent Australia in 2004. He has also danced in numerous film clips, just recently the "Britney Spears" of Asia, Hirsho.

 

 

Liam Master AKA B-Boy Fongo - Break Teacherliam
9 years experience in Break Dancing, Hand Balancing & Acrobatics
Achievements - 2008: 2nd place Crew Australasian Titles
Achievements - 2009: 1st place 3 on 3 Australian Titles, 1st place solo Qld Titles, 1st place Australian Crew Titles

 

Emily Hosking - Musical Theatre/Singing
Achievements - 2007: BA of Arts Griffith University
Achievements - 2007: Starred with Rob Guest and Kellie Dickerson in the production of "Sweeney Todd" at the GCAC
Achievements - 2007: Played "Liza Minnelli" in "The Boy from Oz" at the GCAC

Kim grew up in South Australia beginning her dance training at the age of six. At the age of 17 she relocated to Melbourne to continue full time training & later went on to gain her Advanced Diploma in teaching whilst with the Australian Ballet School.

For the following 6 years Kim taught full time with various ballet/dance schools throughout Victoria, South Australia & Queensland, along with performing & choreographing for a wide range of professional performances/shows. Her performing then took her further abroad to Japan as part of a magic/song & dance act & from there Kim continued traveling whilst dancing in the Cruise Ship industry for a further 5 years. Living amongst & experiencing various cultures is one of the most valuable experiences of ones life & a real eye opener. To be able to incorporate this with working in a field which you are most passionate about was & still is a dream come true.

Kim has now established herself here on the Gold Coast involved in all styles/genres of dance including classical ballet, hip hop, jazz, contemporary & tap. She continues to perform locally with song/dance trio “Unlimited Vibe”.
